Burial Story
WO2 Hall was the son of Fred and Emma (nee Savery) Hall of Bury, Lancashire. He married Jessie Rimmer in 1941 in Bury. They had one daughter and a son who was born the month after WO2 Hall was killed. He was a career soldier and started his service in the Lancashire Fusiliers before moving to the King's Own Scottish Borderers.
