Hello, I am Jeon Sojung,17 years old student living in Korea. Today is Chuseok, the biggest holiday in Korea. In the past, families and relatives would have gathered at their grandparents' homes to eat delicious food and have a good time, but this time we decided to stay at home to minimize movement to prevent the spread of the corona virus. I have a test at school right after the Chuseok holiday, so I will study at home.
At home, I'm studying Korean, English, and Math. I studying myself by solving a difficult exercises again and again by using an internet lecture. Also, I am reading a novel that I have not read before and I'm doing stretching exercises which can doing at home. Watching old dramas at YouTube is also very fun these days to me. I am enjoying the things that I couldn't do because I was busy at home before days. Everyone is tired and exhausted from the coronavirus, but I think it's a good idea to have a fruitful day with your own plans. Watching the holiday greetings on TV, I saw that everyone was spending the holiday in a different way because of Corona. I hope Corona 19 ends soon to enjoy a free life. These days, social distancing campaigns to prevent infectious diseases are in full swing. More and more people are expressing psychological pressure from Corona 19.  Infectious diseases like this can be more than just physical illness and can be a psychological trauma to society as a whole. At the stage of spreading community infection, psychological changes such as fear, anxiety, guilt, and family conflict occur. Psychological anxiety is a very natural phenomenon, and I think we need to acknowledge the unstable reality. It's an information-rich modern society, but I think the news about the Corona virus needs to minimize depressing and unstable information by only recognizing the necessary information. Various information about this corona causes anxiety. I was afraid and anxious at first, but now I'm trying to enjoy this situation and use my time efficiently.  It's hard to live a free life because of the corona, but I think it would have been more difficult if this infectious disease had occurred in a war situation. I think the reason why I can live so comfortably is because I live in a country without war. I always thank the veterans who fought for my country. I can live happily while studying because of the veterans who fought bravely in the war.
Thank you so much for saving our country from the war and for giving us peace. Without your sacrifice, Koreans will still live in fear of war. Of course, it is regrettable that it is the only divided country in the world. I hope the unification will be achieved soon. Thank you to the soldiers who fought for their country even though they had family and country. Studying comfortably and living happily is the virtue of veterans who bravely fought in the war. Thank you very much. If it weren't for you, Koreans would still live in fear. I am writing this letter to say thank you. Always be healthy.

Sincerely Jeon So Jung
