UNMCK - UNITED NATIONS MEMORIAL CEMETERY IN KOREA

Hello, my name is Yoon Chae, Kim. I am 15 years old, and I live in Ilsan, Korea. I like watching TV or movies and I enjoy communicating with my friends in SNS. We post a lot of pictures and talk about them. My dream is to become an elementary school teacher who students like. Because I like teaching and young children. I can teach difficult problems easily and take care of children pleasantly. I write this letter to appreciate your help in protecting Korea when Korean war broke out. Participating in war is not easy work, but you did it. If I were you at that time, I wouldn’t enter the war. I think you are brave and your mind is very strong and respectable. I really respect your braveness and justice. Also, I want to have the thoughtful mind that you have. If I have that, I will not avoid work that can be harmed in life such as participating in war. You are a thankful person who lets us live in Korea which is happy and beautiful. I think I can live in Korea now thanks to you. I will never forget your achievement in Korean war forever. Covid-19 was started in Wuhan of Chinese Hubei. Since Chinese people ate bats for edibility, Covid-19 was began. I thought that I should not eat any food carelessly. Also, I realized I should always wash my hands, and exercise regularly to prevent infectious disease. Covid-19 makes our world change a lot. There are many changes in my life. How about you? Unfortunately,There has not been a vaccine or medicine yet. It means we can not be treated immediately when we are infected. Therefore, we should avoid going out and meeting people. Also, we always wear masks when we go out. However, if I wear a mask, breathing becomes stuffy and skin has trouble, so I feel uncomfortable. I wish Corona virus to be lulled quickly. I want not to infect the Corona virus, so I do a lot of things. I wash my hands frequently and cover my mouth when I cough. I always wear a mask when I go out. I am sad to avoid going out. I like playing with my friends, however, I can not meet them, too. So, I am at home almost everyday. I want to go out and meet my friends. The biggest change in my life is not going to school. I took an online class at home. It is so boring and makes me tired. So I want to go to school quickly. It was a long holiday for Chuseok. But I couldn’t meet my family because of Covid-19. I was at home and studied a lot. I am so sad to have spent my precious holiday. I hope that I can meet my family and have a good time next Chuseok. I hope you are safe. If we observe preventive rules, we can prevent ourselves from virus. Thanks for protecting Korea and reading my message!!
