Dear. The bravest korean war soldiers
Hello, my name is Min Ha Shin. I`m seventeen years old high school student in South korea.
Recently, my midterm exam for the second semester ended. I thought the preparation process was very difficult, so I thought there would be a lot of results, but I think it was a test that was a little disappointing because it didn't come out that way. After the test, the weather in Korea became very cold and the temperature dropped so much that it was impossible to go out without a coat. I can't believe Christmas is just around the corner. Usually on Christmas, I went to play with my family or with my friends, but it's a shame that my range of activities is not as wide as before because of the corona these days. Still, regardless of the circumstances outside, the fact that Christmas Day is coming seems to be very enjoyable. It seems like 2020 has passed so quickly without even knowing how it has passed. Also, I am sad that I have to study hard because I still have final exams for the first grade before Christmas, but I think it is really fun that the holiday is coming. Suddenly, I have a question, when did you find out that Santa doesn't really exist? I got to know when I was in elementary school. I found out that my parents have a letter I wrote to Santa Claus. But my parents bought me a present until elementary school. I didn't get it after that, but now that I think about it, I was really young back then. But I'm really happy to have such a memory, aren't you? Actually, the purpose of writing to you today is to thank you. All I could expect for anniversaries like Christmas is because I think it's possible because of your brave choices and sacrifices. If I were at the same crossroads that you had to choose, I wouldn't have chosen because I was really scared, and in a way, war is about risking your life, and I'm scared to die. Of course it's a child's idea.I am sure that many Korean people will thank you for your sacrifice and respect your actions. Because Koreans realize that the reason why Korea was able to develop like this was because of your sacrifice. Students also learn history at school and realize that they are grateful for your sacrifice in the process of learning the painful history of war. Through what I learned at school, I can feel your gratitude in various places such as the story I heard from my parents. Thank you always and I think you should always pay attention to the management of the liver since corona has not yet calmed down and is trending again. In a global fendemic situation, it seems most important to take care of your health. It was great to write a letter with this opportunity and I would like to write a letter to you again if I have a chance later. Take care of yourself.
Sincerely, MinHa
