Designated by UN, the UNMCK is the only holy ground of it’s a kind in the world.

Memorabilia Hall and the Office of the UNMCK were built simultaneously by the UN in 1968. The Commission for the UNMCK, CUNMCK, held its first meeting in the Memorabilia Hall after the management of the UNMCK was transferred from UNCURK in February, 1974. Photos of the UN troops in the Korean War and memorial artifacts are exhibited, as well as the first UN flag used in the Korean War. The photos are exhibited in alphabetical order of the nations. Below the photos, one can find various memorial artifacts. Also exhibited are pictures of the UNMCK from the past, a variety of Korean War Monuments in Korea, VIPs from around the world visiting the UNMCK, including P.M. Thatcher of U.K., and the Prime Ministers of Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
