UNMCK - UNITED NATIONS MEMORIAL CEMETERY IN KOREA

Hello, I am Seyeong Yang First grade high school student lives in Korea. I'm very glad to write a letter to Veterans because I’ve heard a lot about your sacrifice and dedication to protect our country. Without that sacrifice, we cant laugh like these days. This month I was so busy because of my final exams. Most of Korean high school students are so busy to study. Our schedule is full of private educational institutes, and other private institutes. But the end of the year and Christmas come close. So people are excited and prepare for the day of the holiday. My family was also ready to join this happy holiday. We are buying some Christmas trees and decorations for Christmas tree to use at Christmas. Last year tree was star tree so this year I’m planning to make a ribbon Christmas tree. So I buy some big ribbon shape decorations and big socks. I have an older brother ho just finished a big test call College Scholastic Ability Test, so he is weltering in our house. My mother really hates this bum. She suggests to do some part-time job, but he keeps weltering around. So I give him something to do. Decorating the tree, and choose a gift to give our neighbor. I have one wish this Christmas. It’s white Christmas. Last Christmas was not a white Christmas. It was quite sad because I hope the snow comes. So I wish snow come at Christmas. 4 years ago, snow comes a lot so I and my brother go out and try to make an igloo. As a result of our success to make an igloo, buy it was so small that two people enter. So we fight ho will go inside first and stay. I won that argue so I go into the igloo. Suddenly, the igloos roof cave in. It transpired that my brother smashes the roof. So I yell to my brother and we fight again. After this fight ends, we negotiate to make a big snowman use the crashed igloo. I make a snow man's head, and my brother changes the igloo into a snow man's belly. When our work finished, night falls so we go back to our home. The next day, we go out and look for our snowman, and we saw a shocking thing. Our snowman was crashed. We ask our apartment janitor “Did you saw ho crashed that snowman?” and he answers he did. We ask him again “ Why did you crush that snowman” than he answered “ That big snowman disrupts using apartment facilities. So I crushed.”. After listening to the answer we become depressed and go back home and we make a firm resolution next time we will make a small snowman that we could bring it to our home. A week later, we made a two small size snowman and bring it home and put it in the refrigerator. On that day night my mom comes home and open the refrigerator and scream and call us and scold us. My mom said “ Why you guys put this dirty snow in the refrigerator?” and “Clean this refrigerator and throw away this snowman immediately!”. So we clean the refrigerator and throw out the snowmen. The end was mediocre but it was fun. So I wish this Christmas snow comes a lot and I want to make a snowman again. Ending this letter, once more thanks to Korean war Veterans. Because of you, we can live with a smile. Thank you
