UNMCK International Affairs Director Attends “The Imjin Classic”
The Imjin Classic - a commemorative re-enactment of a hockey game that took place on the Imjin River near Paju during the Korean War - was held on January 19th, 2018.
Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs Pi Woo-jin attended the event, along with former head of the International Federation of Korean War Veterans Associations John Bishop, and Dennis Moore (87) of the PPCLI and Claude Charland (89) of the Royal 22nd Regiment, both of whom played in the original games on the frozen Imjin River during the Korean War.
