UNMCK - UNITED NATIONS MEMORIAL CEMETERY IN KOREA

Hello, My name is Keun young Kim from South Korea. I heard that Italy came to help the Korean War. So, I would like to thank the Italian people for this letter. First of all, thank you for helping the Korean War. I heard that Italy was not a member of the United Nations at that time. And I heard that the internal situation was unstable. But as soon as the Red Cross call for help, I understand that you sent the hospital 68 to South Korea. If it were not for Italy, there would be more casualties in Korea. Also, I know that when the train accident happened in Yeongdeungpo, Italian people treated Koreans as quickly as possible. Without you, people in our country would never have received prompt treatment. If the situation in Korea is unstable, it would have been a lot of thought if other countries needed help. And we could have made a choice that we couldn't help. So Italy is more established. I like to help people who need help in both domestic and foreign countries. I am going to travel around the world for help after becoming an adult. My first volunteer service will be in Italy. Because they were one of the countries that came to help our country.
