Thank you very much for the Turkish soldiers who participated in the Korean War. We have maintained our relationship as a brother country. We are grateful for many things. Especially, I think it's one of the great impetus that has led to brotherhood. I think the Battle of Geumyang-ri during the Korean War was a huge event that showed the noble Turkish army. Not only did the Chinese military succeed in beating out the Chinese army, which was a major obstacle to the war, but it also worked hard to bring peace to the world as well as to mediate conflict. We've had a wonderful relationship ever since. After the attack on Yeonpyeong Island, a Turkish man said "South Korea is not Alone. my grandfather fought for Korea back in 50's i would do to same. greetings from Turkey." and that moved our heart.
