UNMCK - UNITED NATIONS MEMORIAL CEMETERY IN KOREA

Hello. My name is Jang Kyung Jin and I am a freshman at Goyang International High School. I belong to a club that studies Korean War veterans at school. While working in the club, I learned about those who willingly participated in the Korean War despite being not Korean. I'm sure they're the ones we should always be grateful for. But I think many people don't recognize their existence. So I wrote this letter. It is right that every people remember them, but if it can't be possible, I thought we should express more that we remember and appreciate. I would really appreciate it if you could recognize us like us and remember that many of us would not have lived like we are today. I also promise in this article that I will announce your spectacularly beautiful sacrifice. Again, thank you very much. Thanks to you, we were able to live, and now we know that it's our turn to be your help. Always be healthy and I will try hard to help you in the future. Thank you.
