Dear the unknown soldiers Hello! Nice to meet you! I am Chae won Lee from South Korea. I am in 1st grade in Dong Du Cheon Foreign Language High School. I am glad to meet you through this message. I always wanted to meet someone who participate in the Korean War because I wanted to give a gratitude to them. I wasn’t be interested in Korean War. But when I was 3rd grade in middle school, I learned about Korean War. Also, I watched the movie about Korean War. I was sad about last phrase that the number of participants who participate in Korean War at UN but died. Thank you! I was moved by your courage. If I were you, I won’t participate in the war because I am afraid of the death. Also, Korean War is not your country’s affair, it was not your duty to participate in the war. Thanks for your courage, my family, my friends and I could live in Korea better than then. All my friends and families are thankful for your sacrifice. As you know the North Korea and South Korea didn’t unify. But slowly we are gathering together. We tried to understand each other. Also, I always want to unify. I will try my best to unify. I wish you to live until Korea is unified so you can see the Korea’s unification Today, I am interested in my new high school. I got accept to Dongducheon Foreign language high school a few days ago. I was happy to get accept to the high school which I really wanted to go. But I also have been worried. There are not my friends because Dong Du Cheon is far from my middle school which I had attended. I have thought ‘Could I be a good student?’, ‘Can I get good grade from the school?’, ‘Can I be a good friend to the others?’ ect. I can do well in new high school, right? If you support me, I will try my best to be a better student. I can write the letters for you anytime, anywhere. If you want the letters, I will write for you! Once again, I glad to meet you from this letter. Also, I want to meet you face to face. My dream is an international child educator. When I achive my dream, I will vist you! See you then!
