UNMCK - UNITED NATIONS MEMORIAL CEMETERY IN KOREA

Dear the unknown soldiers who participated in the Korean War Hello? I am Chae Hyeon Shin and I am 15 years old. So now I am second grade of middle school this year. Before start my letter, I will introduce myself. I am a girl and I like English. I live in South Korea in Hanam. And I think the unknown soldiers will wonder why I am writing a letter to them. Because I wanted to tell thanks to the unknown soldiers’ courage. Usual time, I wanted to write a letter who made effort for our country. Before I thought I want to write a letter for our country, I heard the story about the situation of Korea war. When I heard the story at the first time, I feel scared and little worried. Because the war is very dangerous and nobody wants to participate in the war. However I heard the unknown soldiers are participate in war, and make our country is getting better. After I heard a story, I was so surprised so I calm down by myself. And I considered about to the unknown soldiers. And I could realize they are so brilliant and brave people. So I am very happy to write a letter. My mother and father often say you must remember the unknown soldiers. I sometimes heard the unknown soldiers are sacrifice for our country. So I wanted to be like the unknown soldiers’ sacrifice mind. If I must decide to join the other country’s war, maybe I will hesitate. But the unknown soldiers have different mind and thought, so the unknown soldiers help our country. Nowadays, I can use internet, messenger and computer(and so on)easily, because of the unknown soldiers’ sacrifice. So I want to tell thanks the unknown soldiers’ sacrifice. For 2 months, my school is vacation. So I have to stay at home, and I don’t have enough time to meet my friends.
