UNMCK - UNITED NATIONS MEMORIAL CEMETERY IN KOREA

Dear Korean War Veteran, Hello, I am seoyul Kim. I am a first grader at the adjunct high school at Yongin Hankuk Academy of Foreign Studies. It is an honor to have the opportunity to express our gratitude to our veterans through a club called HAFS CC. Our club has been engaged in various activities in appreciation of the veterans' contributions. Thanks to the merit and courage of the veterans, I can live a happy life and dream up. If it weren't for you, the fate of Korea might have been different. I think one man's courage came together to save the country. Thank you very much for this, and I will not forget it. There are not many people who write letters these days, so I will write the messages that I wanted to convey along with my sincerity. If you visit Korea as an opportunity, I would like to visit the place that we have created for the veterans. Recently, a related festival was held in Busan on November 11. Besides, there are many fun events that are unique to Korea. Also, I hope you visit tourist attractions such as Gyeongbokgung Palace and Lotte Tower. Have you tried Korean food, Kimchi? I really like this food that you can't miss out on every meal. Please try it!! There are various dishes that use Kimchi, so there will be dishes that suit your taste. Let me introduce you to one of my favorite hobbies. You may know K-pop, but the music of various idols is famous in our country. Among them, I like EXO who is a korean famous boy group. Search and listen to it on YouTube! There are many Korean cultures that I want to introduce more. If you are interested in Korea and investigate, there are many things to enjoy, so you should try our culture. I'm so glad to hear that this is the only way we can communicate with our veterans. Your sacrifice and courage toward us have created a bright future for Korea. My dream is to be a doctor and I hope I can be helpful to others like you. I want to grow up as a doctor who warms people's hearts, in addition to just treating them and making them healthy. If I write again over time, I will also hear how I grew up.It would not have been possible for me to dream like this without the efforts of the veterans So I'm going to recognize that all the little happiness that I enjoy in my life comes from someone's contribution. Now, I am studying hard in Korea as a high school student of Korea. None of this would have happened without you. Thank you for giving me and the people living in Korea after the war life as a gift. It would have been really hard to sacrifice yourself for a country that wasn't your country. I will always remember and never forget to thank you. You are our hero!!
