Dear korea war Veteran Hello, my name is Shin Min ha, and I`m still 3 grade middle school student. It is December, and the christmas is coming. Nowadays, in korea is very very cold here. When it's warm, it's full of fine dust. When it's cold, there's no fine dust, but it's very cold. As a matter of fact, I have been playing every day at school without studying because the exam ended early. Since I am a high school student from 17 years old in Korea, my friends and I are 16 years old, so we watch movies and dplay games every day at school. But this week, I took a mock test for the third grade even though the second grade was an exam. The mock test was taken by high school students and forced them to take the test because we didn't study. Besides, it's horrible to hand out your report cards. But my friend who goes to another school said that she went to the movie theater and played with her friends at school without seeing the mock test. I envied them so much. Soon it will be New Year's Day and when I turn 17, I have to study very hard. I'm not very happy to be 17 years old, but I have one good thing. It's New Year's Day. On New Year's Day, older people give me a lot of money because I go to a new school. When I entered middle school I got about one million won. I'm really looking forward to getting the same thing. I'm going to buy what I want with that money! Recently, I am preparing for a festival held at school. The dance competition is held in school, and the first class is said to receive prize money of 200,000 won. So my classmates and my homeroom teacher are getting ready with great planning. We decided to dance which was danced in an amusement park and sing Psy's songs. It's the first competition with my friends since I moved to school, so I'm really nervous. I hope you will cheer me up. The reason why I am writing this letter is not to talk about my daily life. Of course, I may feel like I have too many stories, but I hope you just smile away. Recently, I listened to a class about what happened right after Korea's liberation from Japanese colonial rule and watched a movie related to it. My teacher also explained in detail how difficult and terrible the situation was at the time. It was time to see the teacher's explanation and the movie and realize once more how brave the veterans were at the time. It occurred to me that if I had to serve as a veteran, I would have run away because I was so scared and afraid. I think that the present Republic of Korea was made because of their courage and sacrifice. If I have a chance to come to Korea with my gratitude, I would like to introduce you to Korea. Thank you so much, and I'll never forget it, and I'll live my life with it on my mind. I applaud your sacrifice and courage. Thank you so much. Sincerely, Min Ha
