UNMCK - UNITED NATIONS MEMORIAL CEMETERY IN KOREA

Hello, I am a middle school student living in Seoul Korea and I'm 15 years old. My name is min ji Yu. I live happily with my parents and younger sister. You are a thankful person who let us live in Korea which is happy and beautiful.I’m writing this letter to appreciate your sacrifice that you’ve done during the Korean War. Now, It is winter in our country. Today is Thursday, December 12th and the weather is clear but cold under zero. I wonder how you're doing there. In Korea, we have many year-end parties at the end of the year. Korea is attracting people to various performances and exhibitions for the end of the year. I'm going to watch the movie Frozen 2 which I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. It is a very popular movie all over the world. And I'm excited about the Christmas atmosphere. My family decorated with a beautiful Christmas tree in my house. I took an important final exam for 2nd grade for 3 days. I'm glad my grades are satisfactory. Today, I am writing this letter with a comfortable mind for you. How can you participate in this dangerous war for our country? Thank you so much and I respect you endlessly. My grandfather to have experienced this terrible war when he was young. But you are very great because you fought war for our country. I want to know about you and your country. And do you know that Korea has very developed a lot? Now, Korea is very peaceful and beautiful country. The President is also trying to bring peace and harmony between the two Koreas. If you visit our country, I’d like to introduce to many beautiful places. For example, Lotte Tower, Gyeongbok Palace, Insadong, Hanok Village, Korea Folk Village, etc. Then, you will be satisfied to see developed Korea. My dream is to be a teacher. I want to study hard and teach students about the history of our country. When I grow up, I want to be someone who contributes to society like you. I will never forget your courage and accomplishments. I am honored to have the opportunity to write to you and I pray you are always healthy.
